Everything always starts with an introduction

in #introduction5 years ago (edited)

Everything must start with an introduction, without an introduction, it is difficult to know. introduce my real name Chairul Hidayah, but you will not be able to find me with this name, in some places of my association, different places will be different names, even in the house where I lived since I was a child.

Hmmm, in fact I know that almost all nicknames or names pinned to me are parables in the form of bullying, body shamming, and racism. which is common in all corners of the world.

At first I felt very insecure and annoyed with strange nicknames, but the actions I always take are always silent and over time the name continues to cling to the brains of their sinners.

Do you know why I say brain sin?

It seems, I don't need to explain at length, I just need to say this is an insult at its core, the result of that humiliation is sin.The purpose of myself talking like this, #Stopbullying, #StopBodyshamming and #StopRacism.

Okay, we leave the problem above and go back to myself, I don't want to say about my childhood to high school, I will say from the beginning of college, because this is the beginning of discovering my true identity starting from here.

The History of Islamic Culture is the department that I chose. Do you know why I chose it? This is because of my interest in the map and my focus on the names of the regions and makes me want to know the history of the area, especially the Aceh region.

But after a few months after Student Orientation at the University and entering college bored me who might not be able to write why here. When the orientation of senior students always says "You are not KUPU-KUPU (lecture - home - lecture - home) This is where you look for knowledge, friendship connections and where your skills are sharpened".

So to get rid of the boredom caused by KUPU-KUPU and other problems, I chose to join the Red Cross volunteers on campus, this is where my starting point to become a humanitarian volunteer full of joy and sorrow begins.

The slogan "From us is only for humanity" and various materials about the history of the red cross, first aid, water & sanitation and many other materials taught to us, but when participating in this training for 7 days and 7 nights, you cannot expect to be able to eat , study and sleep peacefully. You will be given surprises every day, starting from having to understand the strength of the material, mental & physical, like it or not, you must always be prepared if you are not ready for it all you will get a penalty.

You know ?
when one person makes a mistake all will be punished.
After the training was finished I realized, which initially made me upset because I was always hit by penalties that I did not do but after going to the field I finally realized that what is taught is very useful during natural disasters and conflicts, you must be prepared, alert and responsive in situations any.

Actually I want to tell you more about the joys and sorrows of volunteering for the red cross, but let me tell you in another dimension or space in the future. Now I will tell you about the courage that illuminates knowledge for me.

Before I joined the Red Cross Volunteers, I was really interested in what @MAPESA was doing and coincidentally, my campus colleagues and one generation were Masykur manuscripts and @MAPESA members, I was interested in what he did and did. and at that time my fingers began to itch to find out more about him and @Mapesa.

Post by post I saw and arrived at the post about saving the Aceh and Lamuri Tombstones that made me interested in participating in their activities, because the masykur was one of them, I ventured to be able to participate.

That week was a very memorable time for me to see #historical evidence such as falling in love at first sight, seeing firsthand the beauty of the ornaments and calligraphy at the lamuri tomb on lamreh hill and not only the tombs found there but also ancient ceramic fragments, beads ancient and ancient currency.

my first visit to lamuri who wanted to see how @Mapesa worked in saving the site, if not mistaken this visit was in september 2015.

At that time Sunday after Sunday, I emptied a less important schedule to join them and to do Meuseuraya or language that was often used by the general public was reciprocal cooperation, this activity was the activity of cleaning up ancient tomb complexes and conducting an inventory of tomb complexes in Aceh in general
At first glance, your eyes will definitely see this as an ordinary collaboration, but without you knowing it is an activity that can be said that you cannot meet at any institution, even archeology classes where students never do this activity every week.

So what will we find after doing Meuseuraya?

certainly tired, for lazy people but the main purpose of this ancient tomb complex cleaning activity, is so that we can find comparisons and evidence between Aceh, Lamuri and Pasai tombstones starting from the shape, basic materials, ornaments and calligraphy models used. But to be able to read calligraphy written on tombstones, we must understand the spirit of Arabic calligraphy or the characteristics of the Arabic alphabet and also Arabic, not just anyone can read the Epigtaph or writing on a tombstone, one must have sufficient experience in this matter.

The essence of ancient tombstones is that it is a sign that people have inhabited the region in such a century and at that time we can know the types of tombstones and calligraphy and we can find out the message or poetry carved on the tombstones.

The purpose of MAPESA is not to specialize in ancient tombstones but to discover the true story of Islam and reflect its authenticity in the Aceh Territory in the past and present its story and legacy to the wider community, especially for the younger generation.
