Well, let me start by telling you how I came across this amazing interesting exciting community!
So I had just prepared myself some dinner and about to sit down and watch an interview of one of my favourite entrepreneur, libertarian and anarcho-capitalist activist; The Dollar Vigilante - Jeff Berwick.
It was an interview with the genius Collin Kettell and they were discussing the gold bull, anyway so Collin congratulates Jeff on his post for making 30 odd K on Steemit! I'm sure that's enough for anyone to stop what they are doing and go to the all great google and type in "what is Steemit."
So now after some diligent research, I am now here writing my first post.
I will go by the name of Ironfist as I prefer to be left anonymous, I will be posting personal stuff so I do not want anyone to lead this back to me. So I guess I'll start by telling everybody why I decided to start posting on Steemit, although I know most of you are thinking I am just posting to ultimately try and make some money and in spite of the fact that that does hold some merit ultimately that is not the end result.
Going back 15 odd years or so to my earlier teens I used to post on a website which was like an online diary and people would comment and share your story so as soon as I came across Steemit memories flowed back like a waterfall. So I'm excited, excited to post all the things I am passionate about, all the things that make me think, all the things that make cry, all the things that I'm facing, all the things that are hard, all the things that are easy, all the things that will make me rich and all the things that will make me poor.
I would also like to share my thoughts on the current commodity market and why I think everyone should have some money in either the mining sector or hold physical, as the problems of the world are getting more and more out of control I feel it necessary to go back to our primitive ways and deal with gold and silver.
Well, I think I'll stop it there and head up next week with my next post, so till then I guess I'll see you guys next week!
Hi, nice introduction )
I've often heard people complaining about "to high" payments for @dollarvigilante posts , but considering numbers of people attracted to Steemit by him it's really very affordable promoting.
Post with pictures have a tendency to get more attention here, so here's some tips https://steemit.com/steemit/@primus/best-3-image-hosting-sites-for-steem
Yes i agree, thank you i will
