I must admit I feel very excited to be a part of this Hive community, this wonderful community was introduced to me by my dearest friend @justinpencilz and someone i call pumpkin @thekittygirl, with their excellent coaching and mentorship skills they both guided me on each steps to take to get on board, although it wasn't an easy journey i must say; i had lots of difficulties in trying to signup, failed 6 attempt was no joke, i was determined never to give up so here i am.
When i successfully gained access into this community my joy was full and my heart leap for joy like a child surrounded with candies. I quickly wrote to make sure I wasn't dreaming, I posted a few poems one or two, to me it was an avenue to ''break the ice'' to get acquainted to the community.
Now let me officially introduce myself to the community, grab a popcorn, we going to have a beautiful ride.
I'm Joanna by name, you can simply call me Joan . Either ways is okay by me. I hail from orhionmwon L. G. A in Edo State. One good thing about Edo is it's leading in Agriculture, palm oil, Rubber, Timber, Kernels and Cash crops etc. another good thing about Edo is it's ability to create a safe atmosphere for all, enriched with a big heart for accommodating any religion, race or language respectively. We are the peacemakers
I'm the first child in the family of five. Am a Christian and lover of God's word. I grew up mostly with my Mom and siblings, daddy was never around due to the nature of his job, my growing up wasn't a fun filled one like most people. My growing up was tough, rough and bumpy, a lot of event played out that sharpened my growth and development, most of this event were sad and traumatic, it took a lot out of me to begin the healing journey, just like the popular saying '' It is easier and safer to build strong children than to repair broken adults''. This healing journey of mine has been made possible because of the dearest people who are in my circle.
I'm a writer, that is one of my passions and the major thing that soothe me whenever am having a melt down, I started writing as early as 2011 when i was still in senior high school. Challenging as my beginning had been it didn't stop me from dreaming big and putting all efforts together to achieve my goals, I am a goal oriented and ambitious person, am not the type to throw in the towel, one lovable trait about me is the willingness to stand up for people, i dislike oppression and any form of inflicting pains and subjecting people to suffering and sorrow; hence that birthed my nickname 'FIRE' by my friends and those who saw me go through my tough and rough journey, 'Fire' is a name that best describe my little humble beginning up till now, with all the circumstance that surrounded my childhood journey up to this very moment. The fire that was made to burn me didn't; instead I burnt through it just like Gold and came out beautifully redesigned.
I learnt grace and faith on this wonderful journey of mine, I learnt the importance of happiness and solace, one cannot truly appreciate happiness until he has experience sadness, one cannot really know the value of peace until he has experience chaos, My journey taught me how to appreciate memories, value true connections, cherish wonderful moments, and be welcoming to self peace and love, reaching out to people and showing kindness at all times. My educational journey has been slow right after high school, to others am a late starter but to me I'm walking in my own pace, I got admitted into college last year, doing a degree in Mass Communication hoping to graduate next year.

Hive is a community with the avenue to showcase ones given talent and passions as way to enlighten people, create connections and foster good reliable friendships. I got to know more about Hive with the assistance of my dearest friend @justinpencilz, he provided me with the information I needed on how to go about posting, commenting and blogging, all these steps has helped me commence my Hive journey.
MY HOBBY
Writing is one of my major hobby, as I have been able to write 100poems and 6major books ready for publications.
I love to sing and dance, I also love traveling as I have been privileged and opportune to travel to 7 state within my country, I'm still exploring because I love adventures
I love reading good knowledge filled inspiring books, interesting friction books and non friction books. Books like Dream Big, Gifted Hands by Ben Carson, Temperament by Tim LaHaye, The untethered soul by Michael A. Singer, Surrounded by Idiots by Thomas Erikson, Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Goleman, Man's Search For Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl, The Courage To Be Disliked by Ichiro Kishimi And Fumitake Koga.
