Rhythms of Life: My First Step into HIVE💃

Hello everyone! Have a pleasant day. I am @lorene08 and I am here today to introduce myself. Well then, let's start, shall we?

All About Myself

I am Princess Lorene, but my friends call me Cess or Lorene. I am 17 years old and from Northern Cebu. I have a stepsister, and you wouldn't probably believe this, but our age gap is 15 years. I am Libra (a zodiac sign), an ambivert, loud when I'm with people I am comfortable with, and shy when I'm with people I am not familiar with. I am Papa and Lola's girl.

HOBBIES & LIKINGS

One thing about me that most of my friends and family know is that I love to dance. My family first noticed that I knew how to dance when I joined a pageant in our school; probably I was around 3 or 4 years old at that time. Other people noticed it and told my parents that I was so good at dancing, and that's when it all started. Until now, my love for dancing has grown; it is not just my talent or hobby but has improved my self-confidence. I even joined the Purok dance contest (together with my neighbors), our barangay's fiestas, and even danced when we had an event inside our classroom (Teacher's Day around Grade 9).

My next hobby is singing, but unlike dancing, although I like singing, I'm bad at it. It's just that I love to sing whenever I have leisure time to do it; we have our own karaoke in our house that I can practice with, and it's also fun to sing, especially with my family and friends during occasions.

I like to read stories, especially Aus (alternative universe) or simply fictional stories. I knew about it because I am a K-pop fan and most of us are addicted to Aus. The first time I read an Au was on Wattpad, but then one of my friends told me that there's a lot of Au on Twitter, and after that, most of my vacant time I spent it on Twitter reading tons of fictional stories. I even made a thread on Twitter about the stories I've read on my ULt groups like Treasure, Enhypen, and Seventeen. Around November, I also started to read stories on Wattpad that my cousin suggested to me titled "Chasing the Sun," and because I liked it, I also started reading different stories on Wattpad like "Avenues of the Diamond" and many more.

I love taking pictures. I love to take pictures of my friends, nature, and animals, and I also love taking videos. I always love to capture photos and videos, collecting them or memories. I even made an Instagram where I post all of those exciting or memorable days for me. Sunset is one of my favorite subjects to capture. I am a sunset girl and every time I see the sky orange or pink, I'll immediately get my phone and take pictures or videos of them. Sometimes after school, I will go to Lapyahan, as it has the perfect spot to capture a pretty and mesmerizing sunset.

I am a K-pop fan. My friends already know how addicted I am to K-pop. I was first introduced to K-pop when I was around 9 or 10, and the first group I stan was Blackpink, BTS, Red Velvet, Momoland, and Twice. Back then I was considered to be part of "Jejemon fans," and to be honest, I also had that phase back then. My family even knew Blackpink and BTS, and they even made my 10th birthday tarpaulin designed with Blackpink and BTS, but it stopped when the pandemic came.
When I was in grade 8, Enhypen came into my life. I had no idea that this boy group would be this important to me. Then next was when my friend introduced me to Treasure (it was so hard to familiarize their faces),then Seventeen. This sounds cringe, but they helped me whenever I felt depressed, facing problems, or going through the lowest point in my life by just watching their episodes like En- O'clock, Treasure Map, and Going Seventeen. I have collections of Lomo cards, posters, and even official albums and photocards (my friend gave it to me, hehe). I am also a Ppop stan. I'm a big fan of Bini.

Other things I love to do are: Listening to music on Spotify and eating, I love watching vlogs or MSA videos on YouTube. I have 4 pets (2 dogs and 2 cats).

WHO INTRODUCED YOU TO HIVE?

I was first introduced to Hive around Grade 10 by my friends. I was hesitant to join because my Lola wouldn't let me. But I tried asking my father to join the hive, and he let me, so now I am here. I would like to thank @tvlipz02 for introducing me (again) to hive and for encouraging me to join.Im also thankful to mam @dehai for guiding me in this journey.

What Are Your Contributions?

For a beginner like me, I will try my best to contribute even in the simplest way on this platform. For instance, I will share this with my friends and encourage them to join for experience and to meet new people. I want to share my experiences in lifeand the lessons I learned throughout my journey, and I hope that I can also help people or inspire them and learn things in life.

WHAT ARE MY INTENTIONS IN JOINING THIS PLATFORM?

I intend to join this platform to meet new friends and have fun. I also want to improve my writing skills, and I also want to share my experiences with people.

WHAT WOULD HIVE EXPECT FROM YOU?

As someone who's a first-timer on this platform, I'm a person who's not good at sharing her feelings and emotions and someone who has bad writing skills, but I will make sure that hives will expect good from me. I will try my very best not to disappoint my fellow bloggers. I will share content full of inspiration that can inspire you, I hope.

Before I end my intro blog, I want to drop an inspirational quote made by Mingyu from Seventeen. "This moment, this unwavering first step will mark the beginning of something great.". This quote emphasizes the importance of starting with determination to achieve whatever goals you may have.
