Hi hiveans! I was invited by my friend @thestrollingmind to join because she sees the opportunity for me to enjoy and re-ignite my passion as a writer.

Get to know me

I am an accounting assistant by profession. I have been working in the banking industry for nine long years. It is really not my first choice of profession. Since elementary i wanted to become a teacher (like eh, everyone does). But when i was in my last term in high school i realized how i was fond of numbers and calculations. So i have decided to take Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. I felt it was that easy for me to graduate with that degree. But mind you i climbed mountains and crossed rivers. When i told you i crossed rivers i mean I switched to a different course. After two years told myself I cannot pursue Accountancy but still I wanted to get an accounting degree. Luckily our school was offering the pioneering degree of Accounting Technology. Yes, still accounting stuff but its more likely on the technical side. After 3 years (cause i stopped for a year) I finally got my degree. To cut the story short I applied to one of the biggest bank in the Philippines and luckily I got hired immediately. That’s where my banking career begins.

Life after college

So after graduating, i worked hard to have the life i was dreaming. The life i never got because we weren’t born with a silver spoon. I hassled hard to achieve my very goals and then I met someone (yeah romantic and cheesy but it’s not our type of story). We were in love, we were engaged and we had a Son. But fate is never that sweet to our story. And yes we broke up and i had to raise my baby alone. I never regretted what i had with him but the only thing i was enrage was the way he left me with all the responsibilities alone. Anyways let’s not put the rage into this beautiful story. I am well and happy raising my beautiful son. It made me tougher than ever and motivated to do more for his future.

Traveling the world is my dream

I promised myself after I graduate from college and land my first job i will start traveling wherever my feet leads me. Right now i was able to travel three countries and some places in Cebu and Philippines. Still wanting more adventures and i will be happy to share it here with you.

What comes after the chaos

I am also a content creator and my niche are lifestyle, travel, product and food reviews. I have a youtube channel, tiktok, facebook and instagram. Will be posting the links so you could easily visit my sites.

The main reason I decided to be a content creator is to document every step of my journey. And to support local and small businesses. I have been enjoying everything and i love what I do.

How i find writing as an emotional support

Since high school I was in Editorial Writing section of our school paper. I had enjoyed writing poems with rhyming words in every lines. Whenever I’m sad and depressed I always see myself writing unto blank pages at the end of my notebook. I even dared to write a novel, but i never had the chance to finish it. My writings were inspired by my experiences. I wrote the things I cannot say or express and as if i was living in my own world. I grew up in the cruel side of the world and became rebellious for that they’d called me “The Black Sheep of the Family”. Naaah, that’s not who i really am. But if you really get to know me you’ll be surprised.

When i started college my passion was set aside because of the pressure to Graduate and have a job after.

This is an opportunity for me to ignite my passion and give life to the words i cannot utter. I always wanted to be a poet since then. Maybe now is the time to relive the moments i have been suppressing.

I amm very happy my good friend @thestrollingmind introduced me to Hive. Let’s be friends and share memories.
