More about me
I am originally from Bangalore—the IT hub and the garden city of India. Recently my husband and I moved to Melbourne, Australia because of work and absolutely in love with the beautiful sceneries, people and culture. The move was very difficult in the beginning as I had never been so far away from my family. And because of COVID, we are not even able to visit them. Well, currently waiting to get vaccinated and hope these difficult times are over and I get to visit my family soon.
To answer why am I here!!
Well, it's lockdown here and so had some time in hand to explore new things. Thanks to my talented and creative sister @sunayanasai for introducing me to the Hive platform. For now, I will be posting the pictures that I have taken from my travels in and around Melbourne. I am trying to learn editing and hope will post better pics in the coming posts.
Here are some of the pics that I have taken from my iPhone.
The following 2 pics were taken in Eastern Beach, Geelong. I read that it was built in the 1930s and is home to an enclosed sea bath, children’s pool, diving towers, boardwalk, floating islands, and playground. I think it is an ideal place for family outings, especially in summer.
I took this pic in the autumn season. I really love the weather in autumn and the beautiful changing colors of the leaves. I think visiting the parks here during the autumn season is a must.
This place is called the Princes Pier, located in Port Melbourne—a 580-meter-long iconic Melbourne landmark. Great backdrop for taking pics, a great place to take an evening stroll and watch the sunset.
