So it appears in my rush to test out my new found blogging ability I failed to introduce myself so here I am again to tell you a little about me.
My name is Carl and I am 37 years old and from the south of England where I have lived all of my life, I have a daughter who is now 18 and making me extremely proud with everything she does in life. I have worked many different jobs in different industries but decided a few years ago I needed to improve my education level (I left school at 14 with no qualifications) so I did an access course and then went onto university to study Computer Science and I recently graduated with a 2:1 classification. Going to university even as a mature student was a fascinating experience and really opened my eyes to new ways of thinking and presenting myself alongside the technical skills learnt as part of the syllabus. I am now looking for employment in a related industry to put these skills to use.
I take a keen interest in technology and in particular new emerging tech that can make real improvements to peoples quality of life especially in the fields of IoT (internet of things) and machine learning/A.I and I enjoy building gadgets with microcontrollers, Raspberry Pi's and other similar devices.
I recently decided to invest some time and a little bit of money into cryptocurrencies and NFT's and I am thoroughly glad I did as everyday I discover new imaginative ways blockchains are being used and benefiting their users and I can foresee Blockchain technology being widely accepted and adopted within a decade, especially since most are now moving away from proof of work consensus to less energy intensive means such as proof of stake.
Some of my other hobbies include reading, golf, gaming, watching films and if I'm going to be honest I've always quite enjoyed writing but never really had a forum to do it other than while at university till now so you may have to put up with my waffling for a while.
I think that's me about done for the intro for now, if you check out my first (should have been second) post you can read a little about some NFT games I have played and about what I'm planning for the next month. Thank you for taking the time to read a bit about me.

Thank you for the advice, yea it looks really cool and I've barely touched the surface yet. Lots of reading to be done over the next few days it seems.
Check out the communities. I always tell people to do what is fun and interesting rather than just chasing the money as you are not likely to make much at the start anyway.
Most important thing is to keep your keys safe. I hope you are using Hive Keychain. peakd and ecency are two of the best front ends.
Feel free to ask if you have questions.
!BEER
