Digital Germination - Introduction

Hello everyone,

I'd like to formally introduce myself and make my first post as a part of the Steemit community! My name is Seth, and I am a Colorado native with a burgeoning interest in blockchain technology. I have had quite the interesting career journey to get me here, and I hope that I can lend my skills to the future of what I feel can be a very transformative technology.

I started out pursuing a degree in Photojournalism/Digital Media, which segued into a full-time position doing Photography/Marketing/IT work for the university.

After graduation, I made ends meet doing the occasional photo shoots, until I started my first "real job" doing general IT work for a Healthcare startup. I identified the need for a Salesforce specialist at the company, so I began studying for my certification exam. This took my career in an unexpected direction, with my specialties shifting primarily to CRM/Database technologies. I am currently working as a Salesforce developer, while attempting a few blockchain-based pet projects of my own (fingers crossed!).

It's an honor to be a part of this community, be on the lookout for a deluge of photography (it's great to have a social media platform I can get behind!).
