Hi Hive - This is going to be my blog for my travels around the UK, a very lovely place.

I've gotten rid of my company car and am buying a bike off of a friend (A Giant Rapid 2 Hybrid) which is in very good condition and believe more me than i deserve 😊

I'll hopefully be able to post my adventures in due course, i'm also buying a samsung s9 as the camera is of great quality, so expect lots of lovely pictures of nature (cows, pigeons, all the beauty the UK has to offer!)

I'm going to be building up my strength and fitness to be able to complete the treck from lands end to John o Groats, i'll be doing it the long way around keeping the coast in view the whole way, it'll take time and dedication but i'm up for the challenge.

Oh, my name is Lewis, i live in the UK, i currently weigh 18 and a half stonne! So, this is quite a challenge and i hope you enjoy the journey with me!

I'm aiming to get to lands end by end of summer, i'll be training up until then, when i get my bicycle in a few weeks i'll do an introduction post for that beauty and give updates of all the equipment i buy and test in preparation for this journey of mine.

Let's hope all turns out well, not just for me but for everyone and everything, it's been quite a ride this past few years!

That is an amazing challenge and all the best. Will be great to follow your progress.

Great stuff! We'll be following you to see how you're getting on!
It will be a challenge, and you really need to get some miles in before you attempt it, I mean, LOADS, unless you plan to take a loooong time, of course!
I've done a couple of 100 mile rides (ca. 6 hours each) and road about 40km every other day to get fit; get a comfy saddle! 😄
Ray has been a keen cyclist all his life, good person to ask for advice.. :)

Good luck, Lewis! You can do it!

@for91days

Cool, will keep in mind for my next post, thanks!

That's quite a goal. How long do you think it will take? You really need to get fit before you start. Need some decent equipment too. I could be up for some weekend rides if you want.

!PIZZA !LUV !hivebits

Sounds cool, man. I'm getting a bike in a few weeks, walking up until that point, it'll take about a month, for me i think to make the journey, i'll post as i buy and test equipment.

Hivebits blends Hive's blockchain and Bitcoin's ethos. Your effort = your reward. Mine HBIT simply with ! hivebits (no space) or ! HBIT (no space), 1-per-day. Success! You mined .9 HBIT and the user you replied to received .1 HBIT on your behalf. You can receive 100% of the HBIT by replying to one of your own posts or comments. Or, support Hivebits at the official HBIT mine | your wallet | market | tools | connect | <><

Confirmation replies are currently on, but they'll go off when Resource Credits (RCs) get low. Your hivebits command will still go through and you'll get your HBIT.
