Journalism as we know it is dead. Technology is making it so the best investigators will be probes, sensors, drones, satellites, and data analysts.
But beyond that? It will be progressively more difficult to keep secrets. Investigation might be as simply as checking someone's social media accounts. In a radically transparent society, will there be anything left to investigate?
I do say not every society is going to be radically transparent so I'm mainly speaking about the trend the United States is on.
Can't wait for that eventuality @ dana-edwards . The world would be a much better place to live in.
I believe technology is going to revolutionize truth seeking in all parts of the world. Already, the usage of simple communication devices have made huge impact on how the common people get information.
