This is a serious post (not a troll post).
Journalism needs to pay. This is why even articles in the 1800s were laden with clickbait (/r/oldnews might be of interest to you). The internet didn't kill investigative journalism, it was never the most profitable part of journalism.
Steemit just makes clickbait more lucrative. Now, yes, it may be paid better on Steemit than elsewhere.
But when these journalists realise they can employ 1/4 of their cognitive faculties and make 4 times more, I'll be happy to see what happens. More Panama papers or why women should shave their heads do you think?
