Great article. I personally believe that the media has been heavily skewed to carefully deliver orchestrated content while often missing out on key issues, heavily linked to your media conglomerates section. I think a useful point is that social media can be a great way of accessing content that might not otherwise be found, though I know exactly what you mean about clickbaity titles which don't provide much useful content. I recently started a blog as I was so frustrated about the lack of honest discussion (mainly in the UK) about current affairs, particularly with young people in mind.
