The market closed the trading week strong with Bitcoin setting new records, high trading volumes due to the Bitcoin Gold hard fork and most recently strong rumors of the Chinese returning to the market. The market recorded a very strong growth, it peaked slightly above the $180Billion mark well above its previous week's peak of $176Billion also experienced a 7 day low of $162Billion. The market grew by an impressive 7.21% in the last 7 days gaining a huge $12.048Billion to close (GMT+11) at $179.156Billion, and total volume traded in the last 7 days was $30.55Billion. While in the last 24Hr the market grew by a strong 4.81% gaining $8.214Billion and volume traded was $6.25Billion a 29.91% increase from the previous day. A total of 1231 cryptocurrencies and 6243 market pairs were traded. Bitcoin's market dominance decreased from 58.4% to 57.0% of the total market cap in the last 7 days.

In course of the week, our biggest gainer was BCH gaining an impressive 48.66%, moved up one spot swapped places with XRP becoming the 3rd most valuable crypto. While NEM recorded the only loss of 0.83%, dropping one spot as NEO moved up two spots to take its No.7 spot, as all other coins retained their spots. Bitcoin grew by 4.69% setting a new all time high of $6300 and valued above the $100Billion mark. The top Ten cryptos combined market cap grew by 7.38% in 7 days outperforming the market to close at $159.55Billion, while OTHERS also grew by 5.88% in the last 7 days to close at $19.610Billion.
