LONG TERM value with new Crypto Currencies

in #investing8 years ago (edited)

Since investing in crypto currencies I have seen great ideas to realize most are not what they are cracked up to be. I tend to get very excited when I look at a crypto and it seems to solve a real world problem. They seem like no brainer investment to find out its a scam or the people involved have no credibility. I even watched videos of different you tubers talk about coins who seem to be seasoned in crypto currencies and they talk highly of certain coins they may be invested in to realize they don't really know what they are investing in. The most important thing to do is research on your own. I don't like to pump any coins, but for this article I will give an example of a coin with a lot of potential and one with very little imho so you can compare the differences in the 2 companies.

Success in sports, business, or program is proper training, experience, passion and the most important thing integrity. Warren Buffett says integrity is the most important quality he looks for in human beings. He knows within 10 minutes if he wants to invest with someone or not. He made a huge investment with a person he talked to on the phone, but never met. He knows what someone with integrity sounds like( would like him to teach me). Also we need to look at schools have they gone to? How have they done in prior employment? What experience do they have in the field they are working on? Do they seem to have a passion for what they are doing or is it a hobby? Who are they partnering with? Are these legitimate companies? Do they have any product out? The main point is if someone doesn't seem to love what they are doing and don't have the proper credentials, then I am not interested in the project.

Tom Brady's picture should be next to the definition of passion. He cried when he got drafted in the 6th round of the nfl draft. He cried talking about it in a interview. He even named every single player drafted ahead of him. Someone with that kind of passion I want quarterbacking my team( managing the project in crypto currency I am invested in). Hes not the most athletic, talented, fasted guy around. But his passion for football made up for it by relentless studying and film watching to make his football IQ higher then everyone else. The brain is always going to be the most powerful tool of the human body, but without the love and passion it can't go to its optimal level. Colin Kaepernick is a freak of nature. Guy can blow away Tom brady in a 40 yard dash. He has a cannon arm known to throw 95 mph fastball in baseball. And his body is chiseled with muscle. If Tom Brady stood next to Kaepernick in a pick up football game I am pretty sure Kaepernick would be picked first. Don't let looks deceive your judgement. Also look at what experience and results go along with what they are selling. So this is the main tool I look for on my journey to finding a good investment. Who is the quarterback for my crypto currency. Is this guy Tom Brady or Colin Kaepernick.

So the first investment I will talk about is chronobank. They have something called TIME token. You get rewards on the coins for each transaction. So what they are doing is cutting cost to find jobs on labor websites. So what labor websites do is take a portion of your salary out when you get a job from them. So chronobank is going to cut out that cost. They are the uber of finding jobs. It sounds great. Any time cost are cut it could be the next monopoly like amazon. Then you look through the website to see they are a business already in labor called Edway thats been around for many years. So I see experience. They have big businesses/franchises on the website saying they work with Edway . I asked them about how they do business with Costco and the Australian Army. They said they train the workers. It sounds quite odd, but I guess possible. I decide to look on yelp. They have no reviews which I found odd for such a big business. I did find reviews not about finding labor jobs but for their training programs on facebook.

AXL Strategic Partners is a investor for 1.1m. Sounds great, but that is the only business AXL invested in. The website looks cheap and you can't see background info on the workers. I dig deeper and see Chris Anderson the founder of AXL is also a labor company with the same address as his investment business. Then I see Chronobank is partnered with IPS ( International People Solutions) The website looks nice and I see a chat box and decide to ask if they are partnered with chronobank. The operator asks my name. I said what does my name have to do with the question? And the operator quickly signs off without any response.

I decide to look the Co Founder of Edway Sergei Sergienko and see what college he went to. University of New South Wales Bachelor of Commerce, Finance and Economics 2000 - 2004. I tried to find more info about him on wiki but it got deleted. I just don't see a lot information about him. It is a great idea to cutting costs for labor work on websites, but I have no clue if some of the partnerships are real and if the team is solid. They are on several exchanges and blockchains so it might do quite well, but its to many red flags for me.

We will look at a company called Lykke( sounds like looka). It means luck I believe. So this company wants to run a big forex business with no fees. It sounds amazing. So they want to trade all kinds of things on this platform. It sounds like a very ambitious project. The first thing that stood out was Richard Olsen was the co founder. He was forex person of the year for 2016. "Dr. Richard Olsen serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Olsen Ltd. (also known as Olsen Data AG). Dr. Olsen Co-Founded OANDA Corporation in 1995 and served as its Chairman. Dr. Olsen is the founder of The Olsen Group (formerly Olsen & Associates) since 1985. In 1996, Dr. Olsen co-founded OANDA, Inc. He served as Chief Technology Officer of OANDA Corporation. He worked in banking as a researcher and foreign exchange dealer before founding Olsen in 1985."(bloomberg).

He is the quarterback for Lykke. This is something this guy has had a passion for most of his life. From watching his you tube videos and his background it is someone I want to invest in. They have an app for lykke on ios and android to prove they have things rolling out out for the business. I see they have a big team and I see a bright future for this company.

Any investment you decide to take part of will always have risks. This is just my opinion on what I look for in long term investments. Whatever investments you decide to invest in you do at your own risk. Would like to hear readers thoughts on new projects that are coming out or out that have a Tom Brady type co founder that has potential to be a long term investment.

Very good blog. Good to see I'm not the only one who thinks like this. It surprises me people don't do their due dilligence on the coins they invest in. How can you invest in something if you don't know it's Trustworthiness. I really advice people to take a look at: https://www.coincheckup.com.
