RE: My Vote Counts A Lot And I Like Upvoting People.

@ilovesteemit Do you mind if I ask where a majority of your Steem income came from? Was it as a witness, miner, content creation, etc?

If you honestly don't want to answer that's quite alright too. I was just curious how you managed to amass so many SBD and STEEM in such a relatively short period of time while this platform is still in its infancy. :-)

I don't mind answering the question. I traded my way up. I have been up and down.... but ethereum was very good to me. I bought it during the crowd sale at 35 cents apiece. I think there is good money to be made in crowd sales. I have a few coins I am interested in, but I can only spread myself so thin. I think Steemit is underestimated and has some serious potential. I could be wrong. The answer is... I bought steems with my crypto coin profits. I am willing to wait one more year before I start pulling profits out. I wonder what my little pile of steems will be like 12 months from now. I initially had about $20 thousand in gold coins. I sold that and used it for my initial bitcoin buy in.

@ilovesteemit Wow, from gold coins to bitcoins and beyond. That's definitely a leap of faith that many would never have taken and I'm very glad it worked out well for you! There's no doubt there's a future in cryptos and I agree wholeheartedly that Steem has potential. It's the first crypto based social media platform so there's little else to compare it to as of yet but Steem is setting a whole new precedent in previously uncharted territory. In a social media era, no one would argue there's a lack on interest or potential in trying to explore the possibilities it has to offer.

At 35 cents ETH would have been one heck of a bargain buy-in considering it's current value is just shy of $13 a piece now, not to mention the ETH/ETC fork that caused people to have equal holdings in each almost overnight.

It sounds like your knowledge and willingness to keep abreast of the crypto world as it evolved was instrumental in your success and I thank you very much for your inspiration and in-site into your methods for success.

If you haven't googled "The Internet of Things" , look it up. ETH and ETC have enormous potential. By the year 2020, the Internet of Things is expected to be a 7 trillion dollar industry. This is like living in 1977 and I am telling you about a company called Microsoft.. The world is about to change very fast and the public has not even heard about it yet.

@ilovesteemit Curious, what crowdsales are you looking at in the future? I've been looking to invest in blockchain and crypto and would love some suggestions!

By the way... have an upvote.
