they don't have in-depth knowledge of the companies they invest in. they just punt on the recommendation in the media.
the army of analysts and the insider information and the kind of people Warren Buffet mingle with is not available to us common investors. He would have made a killing before the news comes out, by then too late for us. I wonder how many knew about the delisting of Vedanta's delisting and made a killing long before the news hit streets?
most of the small players, claim to be investors, yet are just gambling on the recommendations.
the BigBoys are very manipulative and whip up stories of greed and fear and sentiments and rattle to shake off the hands.
so, to say all are equal is a myth. some are more than equal.
Conclusion
Investors with surplus money in hand are literally between 'The devil and the deep sea'.This essentially means that people are LOSING THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY to the incompetence, of our government, MFS Investment Management, and corporate heads. The future of ordinary people looks VERY BLEAK indeed!!
