I've just today introduced everyone in Africa (who's into Bitcoin) to Steem.
Hi y'all.
I maintain the Blog at iceCUBEDX. I also do biz. dev. work there.
You can see me on the Team Page here.
Essenitally, if you're into Bitcoin and in Africa, you now know about Steem.
(keep reading for more details as to why).
You can read the blog post here.
We're one of the leading crypto exchanges in Africa.
And one of the few "bitcoin businesses" on the African continent.
We're a South Africa company with a presence in key Africa markets (Nigeria, Botswana, Zimbabwe, etc).
For the last 3 years we've successfully maintained operations and banking parnterships in Africa, for our exchange business.
We have/are:
1). 25,000+ registered users (blog mailing list).
2). One of the only operators with Nigerian Naira market.
3). One of the main exchanges in Africa.
4). Registered users is Botswana, Nigeria (Africa's largest market) and Zimbabwe.
We're in discussion now to add Steem to our exchange platform.
I'm a big believer in this project.
I'll be championing it at our company.
Here's why:
1). It is the first project I've seen, since Bitcoin, that quite obviously has real potential.
2). When someone shows you a project, and it makes sense, it makes sense instantly.
When you see it working, you don't need to be sold the idea. The idea sells itself.
3). Steem is both hype and utility.
So...it's justified hype. That's rare in the crypto-space.
4). If the economic model proves sustainable, it will surpass Reddit very soon.
It appears to be a winning formula for content monetization / news aggregation.
And watching the network effects in real time...well, it's exciting.
Congrats to all the Bitshares guys and all the developers involved in this one.
Bringing Bitcoin and steemit to Africa is so dope. I dig projects like this.
Cheers. Workin' hard. Feel free to share the post.
Help us get the word out to Steem traders.
This is incredible! Keep up the good work!
Thanks!

Keep it up, this community is growing at an alarmingly fast rate.
Yep...network effects ain't nothing for Steemit.
