Isn't market cap a bit flawed? Correct me if I'm wrong here, but let's say you set up a premined crypto with a billion tokens. You hold on to all but one of them, and sell that last token to a co-conspirator for $1000. These tokens never change hands again. That coin now has a $1T market cap (albeit with an extremely low volume). This is an intentionally extreme case to illustrate the idea but things like this but on a much smaller scale probably inflate the number.
