Some people ask me about buying IOTA, so... Here is a brief summary.
For all those who still don't know how easy and quickly buy IOTA at the only (for now) market - Bitfinex:
Visit the Bitfinex website https://www.bitfinex.com/
Sign up, open a new account
Deposit other cryptos (BTC, ETH, ZEC, LTC, DASH, XRP and so on) that you keep at another crypto market (Bittrex, Coinbase, Poloniex and so) - unfortunately, Bitfinex doesn't accept fiat currency deposits
Exchange the deposited other cryptos into IOTA
-having BTC and ETH you can do it directly:
-in case you deposit other cryptos you have to exchange them into BTC, ETH or USD and then buy IOTAHaving eventually IOTAs at your exchange wallet (actually MIOTAs - Millions of IOTAs that Bitfinex is listing) you can:
a) trade them actively,
b) keep them at Bitfinex (you can even shift IOTAs to the Funding wallet to gain % for long term lending)
c) or withdraw to your wallet outside Bitfinex
Issues you have to keep in mind:
A. Bitfinex doesn't support US citizens...
B. Trading and investing IOTA as other cryptos can make you a millionaire (I frankly wish you that!) but you can also lose your money - just because of the dynamic price changes, trends, and volatility. It's always a good advice to learn as much as possible on the cryptos and generally investments.
Good luck,
In my opinion, it is a stupid coin.
Iota really stands out from the rest with a 'no fees' approach. Although the concept still feels very BETA, it looks very promising. I consider this a long term hold.
PS. Over at Reddit, they love the IOTA tipping bot.
Жаль, что нет на Биттрекс...
Спасибо!
