Its features are quite amazing. But for an ordinary consumer like me I don't want to spend my 1k $ just to have that features and be surpassed by another more amazing features next year.

I understand where you're coming from.
Some of the Android phones offer quite a bit of features for much less of a price. But if you have an iPhone on the other hand, you can run with it for a few years - something that I intend to do when I buy one.
