Facebook just reminded me a post from 8 years ago when the iPad came out.

in #iphone7 years ago

At the time, I didn't see the point. It was a large iPhone without most of the benefits. I remember another meme at the time with a phone handset connected I got a kick out of.

I've since come to terms with the iPad, although I rarely use it. It is still a very crippled desktop computer working at greatly reduced efficiency, so it doesn't offer a whole lot that I don't get from the iPhone.

My son uses one of my old iPads and loves it, but more and more of the games have become pay to win and free to play.

I hate when they do that.

apparently a lot of iphones function is not just for children's toys.

I responded to your other comments, and this doesn't belong in my personal threads.

You would need to get verified through SteemCleaners to prove ID, but the amount of spam/daily and abusing bots on them is another issue. Hitting 6+ posts a day for $200 all gained using bots is not acceptable use.

You also have the general rule of the fact you already got paid for the content (via the magazine) posting it here for mega upvotes is generally frowned on. This is an issue that was brought up with Writer's Block.

Honestly, I too didn't see the point . I hated iphones and iPads when they first came out. Couldn't really enjoy the stuff coz there were lots of other things one couldn't do with iPads at the time and people just had them for luxury.

The first picture was just so hilarious . Laughed my ass out.

Hehehe same here, I have given mine to my little cousins and all they do with it is play games. I don't bother coz it's not much of a use to me anymore.

There are more possible applications on the rock than on an IPad.

A rock for example holds the door for you open, it is decorative and defends your home and your family.

I love my iPad pro + pencil for drawing, and I tried a lot of alternatives before I landed on that option.

On vacation I used a paper white kindle because it does not have any other capability, I didn't want to work while I was supposed to be relaxing, but for my Marvel subscription, my regular iPad is lovely to read on.

This is really true. As more persons are being born and newer generations arise, New Gadgets gets invented, upgraded, modenised and made better. So little wonder that the I-pad a person once killed himself to have is now what little children use as a play Toy /instrument.

Wanted to thank you @themarkymark
Finally people wake up and write about those Ponzi Schemes and Bitconnect. I wrote an article aswell regarding Ponzis and Trevor https://steemit.com/buildawhale/@deradministrator/do-not-praise-the-day-before-the-evening-trevonjb

Technology has really made things easy.
I remember simple machine as well during my high school days

I love the iPad for my kids, but I find myself hankering after a Surface Pro for myself. I need the full desktop apps.

That's a very funny post! I didn't need an iPad when it came out, so I waited a few years. I ended up purchasing an iPad Mini 2. Basically, I bought it to replace an Amazon Kindle. My reasoning was I could use the Amazon/Kindle app on the iPad so it would be a de facto Kindle but I'd get internet and email with it. I love it for travel, especially for work travel, but I almost never use it at home. I love having it, but I can't imagine ever needing to upgrade to a new one.

haaahh old is gold

I guess its nice ro reminisce the old days when IPad is like wonders to everybody because it is something never seen before... Since the improvement of technology, Ipad becomes old like a game and watch to the mobile games today.

what is the price of ipad in your area

I recommend you the iOS game called Polytopia, it is like a mini version of civilization and it is free. You can buy more civilizations in the game if you want though.

I have been playing it and its great, now I am looking forward to play Civilization VI on windows haha

You don't believe that how much you are useful for us because you are giving us cryptocurrency news every day. I love the way you are sharing your knowledge with us.

That's why I'm coming on your profile again and again. Keep sharing such news with us. :)

I remember salivating over the promo for the ipad when Steve Jobs announced it and queueing up outside the Apple store on the day it was launched.

My ipad 1.0 is now buried in a drawer somewhere with a battery that long since doesn't work (surprising, huh?!).

Kalau menurut saya, postingan ini bagus dan cerdas cara berfikir nya..

Me too, the iPad was so underpowered I called it the first Apple device that was too cheap. And I'm still not using a tablet.

Thanks for an honest post.

I want an ipad pro, they are like big phones, so you still have a desktop tower..or laptop? I'm on the go, Multimedia apps on a bit wider screen is easier for me.
Facehook ...always sends strange messages. I'm so glad we are on Steemit.

I really don't care for anything Apple, as it's not open sourced, like Android! Great read, and shows how fast everything has came about!

I love my iPad, newest 2017 pro. Works wonders for steemit, has enough power to multitask, one app available for quick access. I also use it for my crypto portfolio access on the go with jaxx wallet.

If your wanting games for your kid to play without needing jailbreak check out TutuApp. They have a free version I use vip it’s a yearly subscription but the apps don’t break every 7 days like free. Check it out a lot of good children’s apps on there for free usually paid.

By the way I voted witness

I think iPad is a lifestyle gadget @theymarkymark

best regards bro...
