ROI is the killer here.
If they sold Aramco in the 70's when it peaked then it might have had a bit of value in it to make te purchase worthwhile.
But no ..the later they leave it; the less its attraction it has, less worth for investors (the smarter ones not in institutions), lower demand for the produc.
Keep it Saudi .. we dont want your oil mess.
