Been without power or water for 13 days now

Irma recovery is moving along , my house wasn't so lucky, the whole fence blew out of my backyard leaving my pool exposed for trees to be thrown inside of it. That's the best part of the damage, the worst is the big oak tree that fell into the corner of my house and my neighbors house that happened to be tangled and intertwined in the main water line coming from the road directly to my house. Well commonsense would tell you that if The trees roots rip apart that pipe there's no telling where the pipe is broken, so we're gonna have to remove the tree grind the stump out, digs the front yard down to a trench leading to the house all along the main water line to find out where the brakes are located.IMG_1628.JPGIMG_1627.JPG And I'm pretty sure that that's not going to be very cheap, but hopefully it will be a timely repair but with my luck I don't think it'll Be affordable or completed in a timely fashion . Check this out! My neighbors tree fell and all the stones and rocks around it stayed in exactly the right places they didn't move a muscle except for one brick that fell !!!!

Most importantly my son made it through as happy as a camper with food in his belly in a warm place to sleep with loving parents caring for him the whole time. There's nothing better to know that you made sure that your family was safe , and protected , there is nothing more satisfying then to know that you have protected you family , and gurenteed there safety by the decisions and actions you made . Thanks for the support everyone it's been a rough one. I'm displaced right now with my six-month-old in a hotel in Fort Myers. Hopefully my water will be back on soon. But I have missed out on three weeks of work and I don't even know how I'm going to be able to pay my rent ! But one day at a time it'll all come together it always does one way or another I just hope it's one way, and not the other , At least everybody safe just lots of work to do to get everybody back on their feet, steem on Fellow steemians , Thanks for the support I appreciate all your guises encouraging words, I'm going to need them these next few months are going to be tough I don't know what I'm gonna do yet. If anyone has any advice feel free to write me !IMG_1647.JPG 💸🕸🔪🤕🥊

I just upvoted you. Great content ( some paragraph spacing and punctuation issues).

The biggest thing you have going wrong, is you're uploading your photos direct from your phone or camera in full resolution. So they take forever to download.

Run them through a free tool named www.webresizer.com

It will optimize them smaller, and it will let you display them at a proper screen resolution (no bigger than 640 pixels wide is good)

Right now, if I was a phone or tablet, it would take 3-5 minutes just to download the pictures.

(These picture resolutions you sent are good for printing on a printer, or making a poster where lots of pixels is needed. Not for displaying on a standard monitor or video screen)

Other than that... I'm glad you made it through the storm. I see you have some aggrivating damage, but you seem like the type of guy that can figure it out.

But I have missed out on three weeks of work and I don't even know how I'm going to be able to pay my rent !

If the landlord has a brain (I hope he does).. he'll realize these are extenuating circumstances and will give you a break. :)

Hello @jakeworkingman.

Its quite funny that a comment that you made is getting you extra attention - but that is the power of catching the notice of somebody relatively well-connected.

I know that you are going through a tough time but I'd like to commend you for keeping your morals and priorities in check. You will pull through.

Seconded on paragraphs. They make reading content much easier.

At least your images helped to break up your text :c)

Another thing you could look into (if you are going to be using a computer) is Paint.NET. Its free and relatively powerful and easy to use for image modification.

With that said, looking forward to seeing more of you. :c)

Thank you for the advice on how to better organize my posts , It is going to be like night and day after I incorporate these important methods and guidance to my future posts and comments .

I want to thank you for your words of encouragement at a time when I needed It the most . Without my morals and values that I live by I wouldn't be able to call myself a man , let alone be proud of what I stand for or who I am today as a person . If you don't know who you are and what your about then your priorities are going to be non existent , or In complete disarray .

Thanks again @pathforger I'll be in touch , looking forward to future content , and advice if you have the time ... @steemonnnnn
