  • hello dear friends of steèmit, here I will share a plate of sweet and sour pork chop. But it is not the typical bittersweet sauce is an easy and quick dish to prepare which you can do at the time you want

to make this sweet and sour sauce use a very typical Venezuelan drink and it is ** the malt ** for those who do not know this is a beer-like beverage but it does not have alcohol in a few words it is a drink that is not fermented , has a sweet and very pleasant taste

The ingredients I used for this preparation were:
pork chops
chives
Sweet pepper
Salt
malt
tomato

Now let's start with the preparation of these chops, which we will start by placing a frying pan on the stove over high heat, and add a little oil, while salting the chops
and place the pan and let them go browning

while they are browning we are going to cook the tomatoes next to chives and chili, in small cubes (bronoise)

once they are golden brown on both sides the chops add a little malt so that the flavors are mixed not just as one or two tablespoons at the beginning and we remove for a moment the chops and we put the dressings to go making we leave the sauce on high heat so that they go cooking once the dressings are almost ready, add the whole malt and let it reduce a little by lowering the heat,

Now we put back the chops and let everything mix and leave caramelizing, leave for around 5 minutes, little by little it will thicken and go.

we ended up placing a little chives to give a little more freshness to the dish and serving with the accompaniment that you like the most, it can be with a salad and mashed potatoes, I on this occasion accompany it with some pita bread tomato and cheese,
