So I was just thinking tonight about how ironic shit can be. I have a neighbor at the end of the block who is a total meth head. A few weeks ago he got into an all out kick boxing fight with his mailbox. After calling the mailbox everything but white, he claimed it was a lying piece of shit, no count motherfucker and the. Proceeded to kick it, post and all, 30 feet Into the adjoining neighbors field. Later that afternoon the cops rolled by and I was outside, he stopped and ask if I had seen Any of the commotion happening at the end of the road and who all was involved in the altercation if so. I advised I saw it all go down and that it was just the neighbor who decided his mailbox was a lying piece of shit and then he beat it ass all over the block leaving it broken and bruised in the field next to his house. Cop replied, yeah, we think Odie (neighbor) is cooking that shit again and he seems to have smoked way too much, he said they took him to jail 2 weeks prior after he smoked too much and got into a fight with the “giant” with the bright head down on the city square. Looking at him in wonder, he then said it was the street light and he smashed it out with a rock.
I quickly replied that is was ironic how fitting his name is, Odie...O.D. Later that night on my way home from the store I saw Odie slouched behind a big shrub across from the police station. I pulled in and ask him if he needed a ride home. Odie aka overdose, told me that he was hiding from the cops but wanted to keep an eye on them to see if they were looking for him because he thought he hurt a guy real bad and after whopin his ass, he laid in the field most of the afternoon. Said he was a lying, cheating some-of-um-bitch and deserved his ass kicked but he hoped he didn’t hurt him real bad because he didn’t wanna go back to jail.
True story.
Maybe he had a reason to attack the mailbox, justa thought 😁
