News about the terrorist bombings in New York and New Jersey by an "Afghan-American," who obviously did not have a high opinion of his adopted country, was again awash in desperate official statements refusing to name the incident for what it is: terrorism. Governors, mayors, and other spokesmen, against the backdrop of silent police and smirking anti-terror fighters, sweated and strained to convince all that this was NOT/NOT the handiwork of yet another Mohammedan terrorist praying to inflict the worst possible damage to the infidels possible.
The sequence of the denial / it can't be / it won't be / it must not be Mohammedan terrorism went something like this:
HOUR ONE
There was a bomb, a violent incident, that's what we know
HOUR TWO
There seems to be no connection to terrorism
HOUR THREE
We're hunting for a dangerous perpetrator, that's all
HOUR FOUR
A suspect has been identified, they'll get him, no evidence of international connection
HOUR FIVE
Ah... hmmm... he's a naturalized US citizen... ammm... ahheemm... born in Afghanistan
HOUR SIX
There are questions that need to be answered
HOUR SEVEN
We need to be careful not to upset the community
Maybe it was because of this beef with town officials that launched the "assimilated" 200-pound bomber to do what he did.
NOBODY had the guts (or the permission from the Thought Police/Liberal Commissars/PC Monitors) to just come out and say: "We're being bombed by the Prophet's messengers."
Deadly silence and twisted necktie knots.
And, remember: THIS IS NOT ISLAMIC TERRORISM!!!
