San Pedro Island and the Memories We Made

We left footprints that were washed away by the tide but the memories are forever etched in our hearts.

The sand and this old log were our witness, and the sun too! We've been here! We stepped foot into this beautiful island called San Pedro Island in Hinunangan, Southern Leyte three summers ago. This island was first named "Cavogan Grande" which in English is translated as big bats.

The gang was composed of singles and couples with their families

This is not a big island as it can be toured around for three hours slow walk. The journey involved trek to steep parts which are so rocky, walk across water portions and down the trees. With a good company, the journey was worth the effort.

We stopped by a few minutes from time to time to write our names on the sand or to just take a picture

One of the best things to expect in that island experience was the fellowship of food and stories. We got to know each other better, hang out with the kids, scout some water spinach for a dish, and take some more pictures.
