Calcolare la ricompensa di un post su Steemit non è così complesso come può sembrare, basta capire il meccanismo e tutto vi tornerà semplice.
La situazione confusa si genera perché su Steemit si utilizzano due 'monete' diverse: lo Steem e lo Steem Dollar, abbreviato SBD (Steem Based Dollar).
Perché avere due monete su un solo sistema?
Sembra strano in effetti, ma sapete quale è uno dei grossi ostacoli che si presentano quando cerchiamo di utilizzare la cripto-monete nella vita reale? La forte oscillazione del loro valore, sì il valore cambia così rapidamente che è difficile acquistare un prodotto con variazioni cosi grandi anche solo dopo poche ore potremo aver pagato troppo il nostro oggetto oppure potremo averlo venduto a prezzo troppo basso.
Per questo motivo Steemit adotta due monete differenti, Steem è la cripto valuta che da il nome alla blockchain ed è libera di cambiare il suo valore nel tempo come tutte le altre cripto-monete, la possiamo guadagnare, vendere, comprare ... il suo valore cambierà, ma non è importante se non a fini speculativi.
Lo Steem Dollar invece è stato inventato per dare appunto stabilità al suo valore, si dice che è basato o legato al valore del Dollaro Americano in modo da poterlo utilizzare per i pagamenti avendo la relativa certezza che il suo valore resti pressoché invariato, appunto perché dovrebbe e vi ripeto dovrebbe seguire lo stesso valore del Dollaro Americano. Ma purtroppo o per fortuna così non è! (Vedremo dopo il caso fortunato).

Il pagamento di un post
Ora facciamo finta che avete pubblicato un bel post, avete ricevuto tanti bei upvote e il valore indicato in fondo è di 10$ (facciamo i conti tondi).

Non sono tutti nostri i soldini, vanno divisi con chi ci ha votato, a loro va al massimo il 25% e a noi resta almeno il 75% (le percentuali sono variabili e dipendono da molti fattori come la tempistica di chi vota).
Quindi nel caso peggiore ci vengono dati 7,5$, attenzione sono indicati come dollari, in effetti è il valore che dovrebbero rispecchiare (vedremo il perché quando tratteremo il caso fortunato), ma sono da considerare come S.T.U (Steem Token Unit).

Questi 7,5$ vengono distribuiti dividendo il loro valore nelle due monete Steem e SBD, metà in Steem e metà in Steem Dollar. Proseguiamo e vi spiego con i numeri.
Per dividere il valore del post in parti uguali dobbiamo conoscere il valore di mercato dello Steem (vi consiglio questo sito), quindi la metà di 7,5 è 3,75.
Dividete 3,75 per il valore dello Steem (mentre scrivo vale 2,36$) e ottenete 1,588 (Steemit visualizza 3 cifre decimali), ecco questi sono la quantità di Steem che riceverete (fate di nuovo attenzione questi steem sono vincolati e prendono il nome di Steem Power).
Bene, ora non ci resta che fare lo stesso lavoro con gli Steem Dollar, sì ma non andate a vedere la loro valutazione, non serve, infatti dovete sapere che Steemit considera come se lo Steem Dollar valesse sempre 1$ e quindi ci ritroveremo 3,75 (ricordate? la meta calcolata sulla parte dell'autore).

Il caso fortunato
Eccoci al caso tanto atteso e anche molto frequente visto che normalmente lo Steem Dollar vale sempre di più del fatidico dollaro. Nell'esempio abbiamo ottenuto 3,75 SBD che sarebbero uguali a 3,75 dollari, ma in realtà valgono 3,75 moltiplicato 1,72 (il valore di quando scrivo) che fa ben 6,45 dollari. Di conseguenza i 7,5$ del valore del post lievitano a 10,2$.
La differenza (o meglio guadagno in questo caso) non è tanta, ma sappiate che il valore dello Steem Dollar è arrivato molto più in alto superando i 13$, fatevi due conti!
I conteggi sono stati effettuati considerando la scelta di pagamento del 50% e 50% che è la scelta di base, se optate per la modalità con power up 100% otterrete tutto il pagamento in Steem Power e perderete il vantaggio del caso fortunato.

Ciao Alex, l'hai messa giù semplice... ma se guardi bene in questo periodo un post oltre ad essere pagato con una parte di SP e una di SBD riceve anche una piccola parte in STEEM..
Sì, l'ho fatta facile per i nuovi e poi non ho ancora ben capito questo nuovo sistema come venga calcolato! :-)
Ciao Alex, non appena torno a casa ti posto un link che spiegava (o perlomento ci provava) come questa parte in steem veniva calcolata. In ogni caso è collegato al "SBD Print Rate"... ogni volta che scende sotto il 100% una parte degli sbd delle rewards viene pagata in steem. Ora siamo al 91.33%
