I've never even seen one of these types of trout...lol I fish in the N. Georgia mountains and we mainly have rainbow, brown, and brook trout. There is a fairly robust hatchery and stocking system in place that is operated by the state government. The rainbows and browns are mostly stocked into the local streams and rivers.
