🇬🇧 Dear Steemians, today was a beautiful day. As many of you know, I'm a lover of fishing, I practice as a real sport because it is often extreme fishing, when the prey to catch are fish that weigh as much as me, without the use of supports, only man and fishing rod against fish, often indeed the fish wins.
My twenty years of experience is based above all on freshwater fishing, where I aim to capture all fish species in the European area. I'm already at a good point, are not missing many names on my list, but today I scored a new goal with the capture of a goldfish. Yes friends, the goldfish as however trivial, capture it in freedom I was missing. I was also deceived, immediately by the size I thought it was a Koi, the dream that I still wait, instead here is a beautiful goldfish chubby XD. It was greedy, in fact it has eat on 3 grains of corn and a red fluorescent slow sinking (this is a red fake corn grain that serves to keep the row of corn vertical in water, this favors the visibility of the bait in the middle of the pasture and hides the hook more in that position) with a slightly long rig, set to select larger fish.
Although it was not the notorious Koi this capture made me very happy, I must say that you do not see many goldfish so big, even its brightness is very beautiful, it seems really golden. I remember that as always, the fish immediately returned to a carefree swim. Thank you all.

🇮🇹 Cari Steemians, oggi è stata proprio una bella giornata. Come molti di voi sanno, sono un appassionato di pesca, la pratico come vero e proprio sport in quanto spesso si tratta di pesca estrema, quando le prede da catturare sono pesci che pesano quanto me, senza l'utilizzo di supporti, solo uomo e canna da pesca contro pesce, spesso infatti vince il pesce.
La mia esperienza ventennale si basa soprattutto sulla pesca in acqua dolce, dove ho l'obiettivo di catturare tutte le specie ittiche presenti nell'area Europea. Sono già a buon punto, non mancano molti nomi alla mia lista, tuttavia oggi ho segnato un nuovo goal con la cattura di un pesce rosso. Sì amici, il pesce rosso per quanto banale, catturarlo in libertà mi mancava. Mi aveva pure ingannato, subito dalle dimensioni pensavo fosse una Koi, il sogno che ancora aspetto, invece ecco un pesce rosso bello cicciotto XD. Era bello goloso, infatti ha abboccato su 3 chicchi di mais e un slow sinking rosso fluo (questo è un chicco rosso di mais finto che serve per mantenere la fila di mais verticale in acqua, questo favorisce la visibilità dell'esca in mezzo alla pastura e nasconde maggiormente l'amo in quella posizione) con rig leggermente lungo, impostato per selezionare pesci più grossi.
Nonostante non fosse la famigerata Koi mi ha reso molto felice questa cattura, devo dire che non si vedono molti pesci rossi così grossi, anche la sua lucentezza è molto bella, sembra quasi dorato. Ricordo che poi come sempre è tornato subito a nuotare spensierato. Grazie a tutti.

Grazie mille caro, sempre super gentile. Speriamo dai che arrivi, non è neanche poi così rara, ma con me non abbocca, ho preso specie più rare come la specchio linear, ma niente Koi che però è la più bella :).

Credo sia semplicemente un pesce rosso, solo che grande così noti meglio le linee del carassio, alla fine il suo nome scientifico è "Carassius auratus" carassio dorato. Grazie per essere passato :).

We have them here in Australia mate but they are half cross between goldfish and a carp. We use them for bait.
Whole as a bait? Do you use it to catch big catfish?
Catch a big whale with a little minnow a wise plan indeed... But I think this little fellow is too lovely to use as bait! 🐟🎣
Yes, I would never use it as bait. Once I used other fish too, but now not anymore, I do not find it right, I only use artificial bait or mix.

Yes brother this is tiny bait use much bigger gold fish x carp they are perfect live bait.
Yes, I know, they are very resistant, once here they used them to fish for the Catfish Silure, but now it is forbidden to use live bait in most of Italy.

Ma non richiede neanche pazienza, quella è una leggenda, l'importante è capire lo spot e il movimento del pesce, dove mangia, perchè non mangia ovunque.
Incredibly beautiful, I did not know that they grew so big, I've only seen the little goldfish in fish tanks. I like sport fishing because it does not alter the ecosystem. thanks for sharing.
