When everyone in your life has abandoned you, God is still on your side. When your brother abandons you, God is the Friend who is closer than any brother. When the world writes you off, God is still rooting for you. When it seems like life has knocked you down, God is getting ready to elevate you to a place of complete and total blessing. He will never abandon you.
What he has done, He will do. I don’t hope there will be a better world tomorrow I know so. The trump of God is going to sound. The dead in Christ are going to rise. There’s going to be a meeting in the air, and the rocket ride to glory is going to be validated by the fact that Jesus rose from the dead, and as He lives, so shall we live also. We have a hope that is steadfast and sure.
“And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed, saying “Father if it is Your will, take this cup away from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but Yours be done. Then an angel appeared to Him from Heaven, strengthening Him. And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then, His sweat became like great drops of blood, falling down to the ground.” Luke 22:41- 44
“Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, “Take away the filthy garments from him.” And to him He said, “See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.” - Zechariah 3:4
Today, declare that whatever is holding you back is OVER. In Jesus’ name, take off yesterday’s filthy garment and burn it, and put on the robes of royalty instead. Today is a new day, mean to be lived God’s way.
