When I was a kid one of the toys that created a ton of memories for me and my younger brother was good ole' Stretch Armstrong! We also fought over him quite a bit and in the end tore him open to reveal the jelly like substance he was made of. What was that stuff anyways? I would say that this one toy defined us for a bit one summer in our younger days before we became old enough to gain freedom from being under our parents thumb so much. Do any of you out there have any memories with this particular toy or any one specific toy that somewhat over came the "Toy Story" heap that we all had at one time or another? I may have to do another memory for this one as I have so many but my thanks goes out to all who participate and to @grow-pro for putting this out there. It should be loads of fun

I remember Stretch! That was one toy that could take some serious abuse..haha It is pretty wild how the memories flow when we see things that remind us of being a kid. I'd love to see more @stillwater!! You're a great sport for helping to get this going. THANK YOU!

Please do more! I plan to do 1 a week at least to help me consistently post. It's simple and I enjoy it. Wanna know how I got the idea? Found an old box of toys..😆 I thought a bunch of post ideas and the realized this could be something more people can do. We have all been at kid and this just opens the memory-floodgates!

My younger sister had a "Zippy." I despised that thing as she treated that monkey like it was human. It was also "creepy!" I managed to abduct Zippy a couple times, but could never get very far. I did stab him a few times with my mom's scissors just to irk my sister. I would have burned him at the stake if I knew I could get away with it. But then there would be a price to pay... I would have to face MOM & DAD! I should
mention I was only 13 or so. I have long since grown out of my violent ways! lol
