We live in a world oversaturated by information and advertisements as brands and service providers all compete for the attention of potential customers. This highly competitive state of affairs is both necessary and highly problematic; every business, regardless of industry, relies heavily on marketing to stand out from their competitors, but this has created such a saturation of advertisements that users’ attention is no longer drawn to such content. Modern marketing methods are therefore cost intensive, especially effecting start-ups with limited budgets, and more importantly are largely ineffective.
IZX are disrupting this stale traditional model of advertisement by utilising an array of cutting-edge technologies to build a decentralised app-based ecosystem, which will take marketing to a whole new level as never before seen. Utilising AR and VR technologies, IZX’s blockchain-based platform presents a Pokemon Go-style gaming experience in which users can collect actual cryptocurrency in the form of IZX tokens, and receive exclusive discounts and benefits, for visiting local businesses discovered through the platform.

Current Situation
The birth of the internet ushered in what we now refer to as the digital age, and forever changed the way people interact- both on a personal and commercial level; advertising itself has been one of the most reactive industries to advance alongside technology as businesses fiercely compete for public attention. However, traditional marketing methods have become stale and the public largely unresponsive to such campaigns.
After years of advertising onslaught, viewers of digital advertisements have now become ‘banner blind’, and ads largely go unnoticed by the majority of device users. Many now even employ the use of specific solutions made to completely block adverts on sites which used to be most lucrative grounds for acquiring new targeted customers- video sharing sites such as YouTube, and social media.
Therefore, companies routinely spend huge amounts of money attempting to promote their goods or services, but largely with unsatisfactory results. Attempting to keep up pace with huge players with vast resources in the digital advertising world can quickly diminish the marketing budget of a start-up or small company, and the problem is only getting worse; the costs of advertising remain always on the increase, regardless of decreased efficiency.
Furthermore, the ‘quantity over quality’ advertising approach employed by businesses for so long is not beneficial for building a healthy and effective relationship between customers and businesses- being able to shout the loudest at a potential customer about your business does not necessarily help to foster a positive impression.

IZX’s decentralised platform offers a solution which allows for a gaming-style experience reminiscent of the ultra-popular Pokemon Go, which essentially looking to ‘gamify’ the transaction experience between businesses and their customers. Users are able to collect IZX’s native cryptocurrency, IZX, in augmented reality using their GPS-enabled device running the IZX app.

That Pokemon game made everyone go CRAZY (I think they even have a day celebrating it in Asia??) and applying the same idea to business advertising is a great idea, especially if its cryptocurrency people are looking to find and 'catch'.
Definitely, the added financial incentive is a big bonus, and also a great way to get general people into crypto!

and the tokens you find in the app can be traded on exchange? any planned?
Yes they will be tradable on exchanges as usual once they are listed. I don't think there is any exchange info yet, but stay tuned to their Telegram- that's the best place for up-to-date info.
