The group of chemicals that caffeine belongs to are known as alkaloids and they are the most addictive substances known to man.

Alkaloids are a very very broad chemical group with a very very wide array of effects of brain and body chemistry.

To say that they're related, or that the perceived upswing in their use (I say perceived because the existence of this upswing is debatable. The use of opium, cocaine, naturally occuring ephedra, cat, and caffine was rather commonplace in the 19th and 18th centuries and even earlier. IMO, the more likely real upswing is how big a deal we make about these things now) is based on some common factor is a big leap.

Semax (as well as its cousin drug selank) are both, as you point out, peptides. I point this out because buying a peptide drug to take orally or sublingually is about as effective as buying it and dumping it directly in the toilet, and the link you gave to rupharma seems to be for some sort of non-injectable preparation.

Personally, i have tried (and i know many others who have as well)selank, semax (through sub-cutaneous injection) as well as noopept (orally). I was very unimpressed with all of them, and most people i have known who took these drugs felt similarly.... I know the russian academy of science has "data" about the awesome effects of these drugs, but tbh, in the world of nootropics/cognitive enhancement, Russia often seems to come up with great data that is never reproduced elsewhere or backed up by real life experiences.

But perhaps im just spoiled by adderall. peptides have never really done it for me, but for add/focus, the one i have heard the best things about was P-21

just as a by the by, if youre looking for a good source and youre in the US, i would go with ceretropic.com.... thgey have a great rep, and i have never known anything they have sold not to stand up to a lab test. Rupharma seems sketchy to me. not only because they offer for sale non-injectable peptides, but because they have scammy type products like "black mamba" and such. they have a golden repuration over like the past 10 years.

its fine if u want to pull yours... yes., they are all my bots... I have about 8K and right now im configuring them to autovote me.... theyll also hit your post once i get the kinks worked out (theyre going to follow me anmd uvted your post).

Keep us posted on how the Semax effects you. I have the same type of ADHD you do and also the same sensitivity to caffeine, so if it works for you, there's a good chance it will work for me.

Thanks for sharing this!

Wow, i can relate to this. Would love to try the Semax
