Ah, there's another token on the steem blockchain! I can't keep up. It's awesome - and I'm definitely buying a little more steem whilst the price is low - because all these tokens are a great way to unite people who share the same interest! @raj808 alerted me to @reggaesteem this week with his post where he talks about his love of reggae and even plays us a sweet Marley tune. I did say I might break out my vinyl but it's been a busy Sunday tidying the house ready for starting work again next week. The whole 'tidy up' malarkey has been made a helluva lot more sweet by playing Radio Scratch LOUD - this radio station plays non stop reggae.
I've shared a lot of reggae on my 'sounds' (a.k.a #musicmonday, #saturdaysounds) series over the year - so this isn't me cashing in on #jahm, more just excited about another reason to buy Steem! Obviously, if it's not your thing you're gonna ignore the post and move on and that's fine too. I just love the excuse to listen to more reggae to be honest. It always cheers me up.
As I said to @raj808 I didn't grow up on it - it was only when I met my English husband (who used to do big reggae sound system in Brighton many moons ago) that I totally feel in love with dub, rocksteady and reggae and it's many iterations. Now, I can't imagine my life without it. I love it when Jamie wakes up on a Saturday morning, makes a coffee, puts on some vinyl and dances me around the loungeroom. Perfect, perfect moments.
