I'm not seeing what's so bad about what you are describing. That Seven 11's will only be open from 7 to 11? (god forbid!). It wasn't that long ago that places were never open 24 hours except maybe in the largest cities. I admit the robot priest is a bit creepy, though not as creepy as some human priest molesting the alter boys.
The molesting priest meme is another social engeneering program run by the same crowd. There has been a very long struggle between the Catholic church, Protestants and Jews. In this age of discovery, it is a great time to read Dr E Michael Jones work on this topic. He owns Culture Wars Magazine and has many discussions on themtube. Libido Dominari is a genuine eye opener.
The question is not what is happening, but why is it happening.
Dude, this is an example to show that the country is experiencing under-population. The economic results from that are quite clear. Who's going to provide the production for the company, and pay to sustain all the old farts? It's not that complicated. You can't read James with blinders on.
I wasn't arguing over is point he was making, but the examples are very lame. If the outcome is we don't get 24 hours stores then it's not a big deal.
There's a difference between a skilled 'western' worker and an illiterate from some third world country. The developed nations need people that can be taught a trade or skill. A huge portion of the world is simply too mentally challenged to be able to be taught anything but subsistence farming or other low intelligence tasks.
The world has been pumping money into certain nations for decades and there's little to show for it except huge families always with their hands out because they can barely feed their populations.
We could use more people with intelligence and an ability to advance. We could easily do with less of the other kind.
Illiterate in what language? The language of arrogance and entitlement maybe...
Japan is the canary in the coalmine for the wealthy nations of the world who also have declining total fertility rates.
Having said that, in the UK it's not labour shortages causing small businesses to fold - it's red tape, cost of overheads and terrible banking and utility provider practices for business owners. I experienced this when I ran my own business a few years ago. The one thing there wasn't a shortage of was good employees - however paying the minimum wage of £7.50 an hour when a coffee costs about £2.50, plus rent, fuel etc means that you have to sell a LOT of coffee - or cakes, or smoothies. Whichever way you look at it, the maths don't add up unless you're serving hundreds of people a day and getting big bulk discounts on stock. The market favours BIG businesses.
