Give Kitkat to support your loved one and friends
Due to the accent, Japanese pronounce the word "KitKat" as "sure win" in Japanese. From the late 1990s, Katkit serves as an amulet to candidates of school entry exams. 2019 is the 17th year for the school entry campaign in Japan. Of course, you can also give KitKat to people facing any change, such as a competition and a job interview to support them!
The new flavour in this campaign Iyokan( a Japanese orange) sounds like a good premonition. There will also be a new red and white package for white and black chocolate flavour. Red and white are the colours of luck in Japan. It will be released on 10th December 2018.
Stay tuned for more fun facts about Japan!
