DJ Alley In Shibuya

in #japan6 years ago (edited)

This is what my friends and I called DJ alley in Shibuya. It used to house 4-5 record shops plus a full DJ equipment store. Form where the photo was taken there were 4 record stores, only one is left. The DJ equipment store is still there and you can see it on the left.

At the bottom of the stairs, against the graffiti wall, my friends and I used to sit and sell CDs to passer by's as well as promote club nights we were involved in. Back then the cafe on the right wasn't there. It was fun meeting new people, making new friends and introducing them to dance music.

Time has erased those days and only the people who visited this area will remember what was there before. Eventually time will erase those memories too, but time can't erase JapanInPictures.
