Was just there again a few weeks ago. Checked out a new area called Bonus Track, small eateries & shopping. Then therere was an outdoor food truck/beer garden going on where the Odakyu line used to be at the old station. The city has changed so much since my wife and I lived there.
Not sure about Kamera or Taira. We didn't go to the Tap & Growler this time, but we did try a restaurant close to it. The food was excellent and it was nice sitting on the patio as a cool breeze blew. It's a great town to spend the evening in if you are tired of Shibuya and Daikanyama.
How long ago did you live there?
About 5 years hanging out there, 2 and a half living in town. Let me know on discord if you want to meet up sometime
Hey What, sorry for the delayed reply. Life has been busy and unusual, until I came back to Tokyo. Things seem normal here. Less crowds though and actually that's nice. Feels like the early 2000's again. I'm down to grab a drink and share stories sometime. Heading back to the states for work in Jan. though.
