First stop, the beautiful Sankei-en garden of old Japan. This garden was built over 100 years ago, and gives an idea of what living back then was like in Japan.
Inside the building.
Cat worshipping altar.
Convenient display at the bus stop that says when the next bus is arriving.
Next stop, Yokohama city!
Theme park in the middle of the city.
On the Ferris wheel.
Pokémon centre in Yokohama Landmark Plaza.
Night view of Yokohama.
Time to eat!
Yokohama Ramen Museum. The decor mirrors 1950s Japan.
Mini tuna ramen with bean sprouts, seaweed and spring onion. The broth has a fishy taste, but in a way that you can drink lots of it and still want more. A mixture of many ingredients that enhance the umami taste.
Mini tonkotsu ramen. Many little bits of crunchy breadcrumb-like things. The broth was very rich, yet it wasn't sickening at all. I found myself wanting more after it was gone.
And with that, day 2 of many days in Japan has come to an end.
really lovely photos..very interesting journey..!! @watermelonollie
Just wish there was more time!
