◆Hokusai and Japonisme◆
I went to Japonism with Hokusai which is held at the Ueno Western Museum of Art.
It is an exhibition that compares the works of Impressionists and Art Nouveau with works of Hokusai while exhibiting works from more than 10 countries including museums in Japan and overseas as well as private collectors.

It was fun to see the work of Hokusai lined with the picture of a famous Impressionist painter.
It was a wonderful exhibition!!
◆北斎とジャポニズム◆
私は上野西洋美術館で開催されている北斎とジャポニズムに行きました。
印象派やアール・ヌーヴォーなどの作品と北斎の作品を比べながらの展示で、国内外の美術館、個人コレクターなど10カ国以上から作品を集結させた展示になります。

有名な印象派の画家の絵と並んだ北斎の作品を見るのは楽しかったです。
I went early in the morning, so it was not so crowded.
朝早くに行ったので、まだそれほど混雑していませんでした。
The National Museum of Western Art, Tokyo, located in Ueno Park, Tokyo, is registered as a World Cultural Heritage by "Architects Le Corbusier's Architectural Works".I can also enjoy building with art appreciation.
東京都上野公園にある国立西洋美術館は、「建築家ル・コルビュジエの建築作品」で世界文化遺産登録されていますね。美術鑑賞と一緒に建築も楽しむことができます。
In order to do a good job, it is very important to see many good works.
I will go to many exhibitions in the future.
良い作品を作り出すには、良い作品に出逢うこと、多くの感動を得ることがとても大切だと思っています。
このような展示にはなるべく足を運びたいと日ごろから思っています。

昨年あたりは伊藤若冲、その前は尾形光琳、今年は北斎の名前をよく聞きますね。

実際の作品をこの目で見てみたくなりました。
比べてみると、なるほどなぁ〜とわかりますし、北斎の事が一層誇らしく思いますよね。

おはよう！私は東京で本当に恵まれていると思うところは、イベントや展示が多いことです。なので良い展示は逃さず見ないようにしないといけないので、たまに３軒ハシゴしたりしますww
There was a similar exhibition — perhaps the same — that came to Nagoya a few years ago. I really enjoyed it. I love the old wood block print artists (as you can see from how I always include them in my haiku posts). I hope you enjoyed it!
