It is a table lamp of a rose motif
ばらをモチーフにしたテーブルランプです。
Roses are a common motif in stained glass.To make with less parts,I made it a simple design.It is Glass made opaque and gentle shades.
ばらはステンドグラスでよく使われるモチーフです。このランプはなるべくパーツを少なくし、シンプルなデザインにしました。ガラスは不透明の優しい色合いでまとめました。
Because it is a small size, the stand has made sense of stability.
小さいサイズなので、台は安定感のあるものにしました。
I will show you the continuation of the work.It's a cumbersome task that takes a while.This is a copper tape wrapped around the glass.
作業の続きをお見せしますね。
少し時間のかかる面倒な作業です。ガラスに銅のテープを巻いていきます。
After winding the tape,So that the tape adheres closely to the glass,I rub the tape with a spatula.This is an important task.By doing this firmly,Strength appears in the finish.
巻き終わったら、ガラスにテープが密着するように、裏、表、側面をへらでこすります。これまた地味な作業なのですが、ここをしっかりやらないと、半田づけで熱い鉛をのせる時に剥がれてしまったり、出来上がりの強度が弱くなります。
The left is before rubbing and the right is rubbing.It is hard to understand, but the right is firmly attached,The right is securely attached.
左は擦る前で、右が擦った後です。微妙ですが右の方がしっかりテープが付いています。

丸いばらがきれいですね。
実物はもっときれいなんだろうなあ。
バラでも少しかわいい感じですよね〜実物はもっと綺麗なのですが、上手に写真が撮れなくて苦戦しています。
Yoshiko, stained glass requires a lot of work and patience. I can see how much you have to do by your posts and demonstrations. But you should be so proud of the beautiful work you produce. I love you lamp. It is elegant and in a way it has old world charm. I really liked it! Have a great week ahead!
