Assuming no regulatory threats etc. have a look at Metcalfe’s law (for telecom networks) - the price prediction in 2014 by Tuur Demeester was US$10,000 by 2017.
Of course, it wasn't a direct line to 10,000 but a meandering one - ie. green line - sometime overvalued, sometimes undervalued.
All of this also doesnt take into account, the relatively small amount (net traceable) of bitcoins that are in circulation at any given time.
Another yardstick often quoted - by Ronnie Moas - $200T is tied up in Cash, Bonds, Stock & Gold. If Bitcoin attains a 2% market share, that would mean US$4T, or 10x current levels.
