Jerry Banfield Invests in Steem
i’ve not been spending much time on steem recently because i’ve just not felt in the mood to type and write my thoughts out about a lot of things but with the upswing of crypto currency recently and surfing between the digital lines i felt it was worth dropping something down.
it’s kinda weird how you find out about people in this day and age, social networks of connected people either in your space or just on the edge of it all have influence. i’ve been following jerry banfield for a while now and while some might judge (including me at times) his sanity you can’t take away from the fact that the guy has one thing - guts.
now while i completely question jerry and his taste in music creation and some of this live streams about most topics when it comes to investing, making money (even randomly) he goes all in, he’s not afraid to gamble and while he’s lost a lot he’s also had moments where he had a lot.
right now is one of those moments.. .
recently jerry sold of his dash masternode for a good profit, he made his initial investment back, probably paid of some debts and then looked around for his next investment. what’s surprising is what crypto he decided to invest in next.
as the title says, that’s steem.. .. if you head over to jerrys profile you will see that he invested around about $17k into steam and already he’s account has gone up in value by about $3k in less than a few days, admittedly steam is on a high right now but it’s a bold move to drop money into steem.
great that jerry is here for the long haul and it certainly helped bump my own account and interest back in the platform - 17,182.439 STEEM is going to give jerry a lot of curation power in the platform and i can see him posting his youtube and blogs here in the coming days and weeks.
I only wished that i had listened to my gut instincts when i sold my me.dm domain to evan williams in 2011 about bitcoin, i did a bit of mining, made my money back but if i had invested £10k of that money then today, six years later i would have easily made an incredible profit from that initial investment.
it’s times like this i wish i had a future crypto currency almanac! :)
do you wish you had put more money into crypto currency? discuss below and if you were investing today which ones would you put money into. ..
welcome to the fold @jerrybanfield hope you enjoy your time here and bring over some of your crazy investing antics! :)
Phil awesome post thank you very much for the warm welcome!
Hi Jerry, I have been following you for one week now and I am totally impressed with your honesty and clarity on Bitcoin/Altcoin information. I have jumped into the revolution and I am swimming up stream. Thanks.
Tip!
i like your posts jerry, would you please follow me too cause im new here and i would be asking you a lot..
I joined Steemit a week ago. And Steem went from $ 0,96 till $ 1,98 in one week! What a rally! Thanks for your advice, Jerry!
@jerrybanfield sold his dash masternode for $85.000 he got me in to dash go jerry
Hi Phil, I just joined because of @jerrybanfield
I agree that sometimes he comes out of left field, and I don't always agree with all of his content.
He is putting out a lot of content, and I think quantity ultimately leads to quality but of course he can miss some completely and sometimes hit it out of the park!
Overall I think he is quite upfront and genuine in his attempts to share knowledge (and of course benefit from that in the end).
For me he is valuable because he exposes me to ideas that make me think. That is a great necessity in this day and age.
absolutely. this really resonates with me 'exposes me to ideas that make me think' - we need more of it!
Nice little tribute to @jerrybanfield. I've been on the banfield wagon for a few weeks. I only found out about him researching cryptos, but it seems to be only a very small part of who he is. Seems like his passion is helping others regardless of the area, and making music...cryptos kinda fell into his lap and because of his extensive marketing knowledge, he was able to parlay it into Steemit! I bet he picked up 500,000 followers in the past month just because of the wild upswing cryptos have been on and his dash masternode. Regardless, I'm a big fan
jerry really you are doing great man. Keep it up
hi jerry i'm finally on this platform..your teaching rocks bro.. don't stop doing you..you a good bro....now let's get money.....

Interesting thread. Nice to see I'm not the only one who thinks like this. The coin market will be turbulent for the upcoming year(s) but I really believe in the blockchain as a technology. We really need more insights in the market and previous investment results. Does anyone know about: https://www.coincheckup.com For a complete crypto analysis on every single tradable crypto out there.
Hi @teamhumble! @jerrybanfield is sending you 10.0 SBD tip and @tipU upvote :)
@tipU - send tips by writing tip! in the comment, get share of the profit :)Jerry, Really awesome video presentation on investing in cryptocurrencies on stack.com I agree, steem will eventually become really big. Why waste your time with posting on fb.
REALLY GOOD AND I HOPE JERRY WIIL BE SUCCESSFUL.
Learn from others' mistakes! -- I'm lucky that I have a very good built-in almanac and can see the future more clearly than most. Also my background in tech, economics and payment technology allowed me to understand cryptocurrency whereas it's confusing for most. That's why I put almost all of my investment money into Bitcoin in 2013, and am now putting most of that investment of extra time and money into Steem. I feel sorry for those who had a chance to buy Bitcoin at $1 and didn't, and we must al learn from the irony of those who tragically said "it's too late now that Bitcoin has reached over $30.00." Everyone agrees that Steem is in the very early stages, and it's time to take advantage, contribute now and reap the rewards later.
