RE: Eternity > Limited Life

in #jesus6 years ago (edited)

I agree that we should know our top priorities in life as humans as it is said by king Solomon in Ecclesiastes 12:13 (KJV)

"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: FEAR GOD, and KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS: for this is THE WHOLE DUTY OF MAN."

No offense sister but I don't think you should fear false teachers or prophets because God commanded us not to.

Deuteronomy 18:22 (KJV)

"When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: THOU SHALL NOT BE AFRAID OF HIM."

What we should fear is the Lord God because He is the one who owns our soul.

Job 12:9-10 (KJV)
"Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this?

In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind."

Also, He is the only one who can destroy both body and soul in the day of judgement— whether you go to hell or heaven, according to your deeds.

Deuteronomy 32:39 (KJV)

"See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: NEITHER IS THERE ANY THAT CAN DELIVER OUT OF MY HAND."

Revelation 22:11-12 (ESV)

"Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.

Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, TO REPAY EACH ONE FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE."

No one can separate us from the love of God.

Romans 8:38 (KJV)

"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

The only who can separate us from God is ourselves.

Isaiah 59:2

"But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear."

I hope that I didn't offened you. God bless and continue posting great contents :)

Good passages, fits perfectly, there's just one thing which I've to correct, because it's a common misunderstood.

You and the holy scripture say "nobody can separate us from God", well, that's true IF we stay by God, so we're the only ones who're able to separate us from God, because we've the free will. The bible warns more often to decrease from faith is possible, so passages like "Matthew 7:13-14" are directed to believers, not unbelievers and I think "Hebrew 6:4-6" is the most important one which shows, how important it is to be loyal to the Lord and what happened when humans separate themself from God without to have the possibility to come back (wolves in sharpskin can seduce with false teachings to abandoned God).

Hebrew 6:4-6 It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age 6 and who have fallen[a] away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.
