Today’s verse is one of importance. However, it isn’t easy. Love the Lord with all your mind, heart, and soul. When we think of this, we should also think of the distractions in our lives that get put in front of of Him. How many times have we prayed quickly to get it over with or had other things on our mind when in mass?
As humans we fail at many things. All we can do is strive to improve. Work harder to get close to Him. Do our best to involve Him in our daily lives. Too praise and worship with with hearts, minds, and soul.
The second, to love our neighbor as ourself is certainly easier, but still complicated and complex. It takes time and effort.
