Made with .925 silver, blue and white diamonds,rubies, and alexandrite. The sword has a hammered steel core that runs to the end of the handle for strength and durability. The bail is not only soldered but also joined by a mortise and tenon joint. The sword slides out smoothly and is friction fit to about 1 or 2 pounds to ensure it won't slip out by accident. The spinel on the side is securely set and are fully formed, facet grade, and 100% fully formed. The process from design to polish took about 100 hours including repairs. Could have been faster but there was so many new and unorthodox techniques I had to be extra careful. I used just about every trick in my book to create this!
