BJJ Training Journal - 3/18/21 - 1st Training After My Bad Vaccine Reaction

My reaction disappear on the second morning after my second shot. I knew my body was depleted after a rough two days but I decided to go back to training.

I did my normal routine and started with Heavy Bag work. I started at full speed but at 1/2 power and felt fine. My speed and cardio were on point but when I dialed up the power I felt pain in my hands and joints when my fists hit the bag. I dialed back the power to ensure my technique was fine and I hit the metal pole at full speed to ensure the technique was OK. I felt fine so I turned up the power and the pain returned. Now I knew it was my body being beat up from the vaccine reaction of the past two days. I decided not to kick and just work hands before going to lift.

It was upper body day and the effects of the bag carried to the bench press. My left hand was sore gripping the bar so I decided to not go up in weight and just rep 135. I finished my weight training by not going up to my normal weights.

I finished with my shadow boxing and shots and everything was fine.

It was great to be back training.

Man that really sucks and hopefully all these people having such severe reactions to this vaccine means that it is definitely not good for your health.

luckily enough I'm still holding to the fact that I got it before this entire Chinese craziness started in.

I just got done with my Filipino martial arts class and I hopefully will test for completing module two next week

Wow good to hear. BTW where in the world are you?

Portland Oregon.

Cool. Thanks. I saw that on your page but some how I thought you were roaming the world. I was wondering what your are doing with your STEEM. I am in Hawaii and since Binance blocked the US I have no way to trade it.

And just got my passport so.me.and puppy dog can go for adventures for sure.
