I’ve been thinking about other important things in my job. And I find out that the part worth talking is called ...
CARVING
Not only tooth carving but also prosthesis, which gives the final shape and contour. Carving begins in wax and each technician has his own style of carving, however there are some rules that must be warned. First of all, a wax-up denture shuld be carved in way that provides good oral hygiene and also in way that we can polish it everywhere, because final denture is made from acrylic resin in prosses called polymerisation, when we remowe all the wax and put acrylic material. It is such an important thing cause food staffs can get into unpolished ?? areas and with time cause injuries or even ulceration to gums. However there are some patients that don’t like the way we shape their dentures, they hardly ever wash them or even take them off, so to avoid that problem we generally carved them slightly. Here are some of those live likely looking dentures, just for fun. Hope you enjoy them !
