The main issue with degrees in general to me is that the school tend to fill up the programs with non classes, just to get to the specific amount of study hours.
If I look at my medical training back in the days, and you look at the amount of stuff I could have just skipped, because I would never use it ever in my career again.. wooooow... that a lot of hours there.
And they forget to teach you in those technical fields: work-ethic, social skills, negotiation. Stuff how a company in the end works. How your career path in the end works. Anyone can teach a monkey a trick, but the true valuable employee is the one that blends in the company most
